My friends and I have been here several times. Unique food options, huge bourbon/whiskey selections. Gets a little loud in the bar for me.????♀️ Catfish is my current fave. Had to try the pimento cheese and fried green tomato sandwich. Wouldn't get it again (LOTS of cheese, not much tomato).

First time. Brunch time. It was FANTASTIC! All we said was we have to come back and try something different because of all the options. Those mini fried doughnuts.... ???? Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are 2 for 1, and they also had a cute, DIY Bloody Mary bar as well as a nice list of bourbon, scotch, and beer list on the wall. Atmosphere was a very family-friendly vibe and a go grab a drink with friends. Will definitely go back again.

We went in for lunchtime on Friday, waited for only 5 minutes. We love the foods, and customer services are phenomenal. It's our first time, and we're all happy with 55South. Highly recommended ???? ????

Called in a to-go order for their family meals. I believe he said his name was Jonathan. I hope I got that right. He was helpful and courteous. He called me when the order was placed and gave me a time when it would be ready. Order was ready within five minutes past the time he gave me. He helped me take my food to my car.

Everything was wonderful! The food was great and service was fast and friendly! I will definitely be going back soon!

So far we were multiple times patronizing this premise. Every time the service was consistently great. Friendly people are working here and I’m talking about restaurant side, seating area. So far we never been seated in bar area. Ambiance is not fancy, but it is very homey and warm. You feel like you are at home. What is the most important we never been rushed out, what is a very important for our family. Everything what we ordered so far was delicious. I particularly like either Seafood Gumbo or PoBoy sandwich.

Had Sunday brunch here today. It was busy (about noon) but we still got sat right away. Service was good, food was out in a reasonable amount of time and it was all delicious. I do wish I had syrup for my French toast but I also didn't ask for it. The chicken on the hot chicken sandwich and chicken and gravy were very tender and moist. I ordered the mimosa and it was ok. We sat next to the wall of license plates and since we don't do phones during meals, we had a fun game of someone choosing a license plate and the others had to find it. I also love the green lawn outside. If you were sitting near the window, you could send older children out to play until your food was ready.

The food was excellent. We had several different items and they were all great. We will definitely be back. The only issue was slow service. We were routinely out of drinks. At one point, when I asked for water, the waitress got attitude 'Yeah, I've got it.' At this point we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes with empty glasses. I am going to give her grace and hope that she was just having a bad day.

First time in this location. On recommendation of my friend, I got a double burger, ate half. In spite of myself, and in spite of their being a bit salty for my taste, I ate a bunch of my fries. Great service. Tables not overly crowded and not too loud to talk. Great choice Ricky!

Went here for Game 3 of the CWS. Surprised it wasn't more crowded. Sat at the bar, had a few beers (half-price during HH until 6pm), and had the Smoked Wings - opted to make them "Nashville Hot style with pickles, white bread, and ranch" for $2 more. Excellent flavor but ZERO heat, which was disappointing. Also had a cup of gumbo and it was very good. Bartender was efficient but seemed to be in a bad mood - I didn't see her smile once over three-plus hours. Good place, very good food. Give it a try.
